Our founder, Dave Andreson, lives for bbq. Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, Dave's passionfor ribs began when his dad would bring ribs home from work in his lunch bucket. His dad would get the best tasting slow-smoked spare ribs from street corners vendors who used 55 gallon smokers filled with charcoal and smoldering green hickory wood.

The food was decent (limited menu compared to the other famous Dave’s) but yikes the service has really went downhill. I had to get up three separate times to find our server for simple things (water, wrong food brought to the table, OUR CHECK) and he was unapologetic and acted as if he was doing our table a favor by waiting on us. The hostess seemed nice, but spoke virtually no English which made things difficult when I was trying to find our server and then when I asked for crayons for my nephew.

The portion is huge, really juicy and delicious. The place has a vintage theme which makes it good for families and the staff is really nice
